The Person Behind
the Infrastructure.
Based in Cape Coast, Ghana. Building enterprise-level digital systems for founders and service businesses across Ghana, Canada, and the United States, as a solo practitioner, using AI as my operating layer.
Davia-Rae Johnson
Chief Infrastructure Strategist

I am the Founder and Enterprise Infrastructure Architect of Rae of Sunshine Consulting, and yes, I am also the mom of a child who eats twice as much as me and has very strong opinions about what gets baked in the kitchen.
My AI build stack was not born in a boardroom. It was born from a very real need to get enterprise-level work done without sacrificing the hours that belong to my daughter, my workouts, my books, and my Korean dramas.
I started Rae of Sunshine Consulting because I kept watching talented business owners lose clients, miss revenue, and burn out. Not because their work wasn't good. Because their operations couldn't keep up.
My first clients were all women. Working closely with them showed me something I already knew but had never fully put into words: women carry an enormous amount. Entrepreneur, mother, wife, daughter, sister. Showing up fully in every role, all at once, every single day. What I kept seeing wasn't a lack of ambition or skill. It was a lack of infrastructure to hold everything together.
That insight is what pulled me deeper into this work. And as my practice grew and I began working with entrepreneurs of every background, I realised the infrastructure gap isn't unique to women. It's the entrepreneur's problem. The CRM wasn't set up. The website didn't connect to anything. The email list was sitting unused. The documents were inconsistent. So I built a firm that fixes that.
I know this not just as an observer. I live it too.
Building a business while raising children is one of the most demanding things a person can take on, whether you are a single parent carrying everything alone, or navigating it alongside a partner. The business needs you. Your children need you. Every role you hold needs you, all at the same time. When you are just starting out, that weight can feel impossible.
That is part of why I built what I built for myself first. Bringing Claude AI into my own operations has genuinely changed how I work. The administrative load is lighter. The time I spend managing projects, tracking clients, and running my business has shrunk in ways I did not expect. And as I now prepare to take on homeschooling my daughter alongside everything else, I know my systems will hold it all together — every client project, every deliverable, every personal commitment — so nothing falls through and no one gets less than my full attention.
Infrastructure does not just help your business run. It gives you your time back.
My Brain in Your Business
Six principles that guide every project from first call to final delivery.
Foundation First
CRM before website. Systems before strategy. A beautiful front door means nothing without something behind it.
Right Order, Every Time
Brand before website. CRM before email. Each layer is built on a solid one before it — no skipping.
Built, Not Briefed
You get a finished, working system with an SOP — not a list of things to figure out yourself.
AI-Powered Delivery
Claude AI is my build engine. Faster output, fewer errors, and complexity handled without an agency team.
Scope Before Build
Nothing is coded until the blueprint is approved. You know exactly what you are getting before we start.
Systems Grow With You
Good infrastructure compounds in value. Most clients stay on retainer because a built system needs stewardship.
